How a job gets priced
You’ve got two ways to pay: let the hourly clock run — $119 for two movers and the truck, $169 once a third mover is added, a one-hour minimum on either — or lock a flat rate ahead of the date. Whatever figure we quote is only as sound as what you tell us; your final cost tracks the actual inventory, how tough it is for the crew to get to each door, and how long the work runs.
Booking, and moving the date
- Nothing’s confirmed until a written confirmation hits your email
- Plans shift? The earlier you say so, the sooner that slot frees up for the next family
- Barring a written arrangement otherwise, the balance comes due the day we finish
Coverage and claims
Free released-value protection travels with every shipment at $0.60 a pound; ask and we’ll layer on a full-value plan insuring cargo to $1,000,000 on one shipment. Once a shipment crosses out of Michigan, federal law gives you nine months from the day it is delivered to bring a claim. Work inside the state runs under our Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) authority and interstate work under US DOT and MC credentials, with the company’s bond and insurance kept current across the board.
What’s on you
Have it all boxed and staged the way we laid out, point out the fragile and oversized pieces early, and keep cash, jewelry and important papers with you rather than on the truck. Anything here unclear? Call (888) 278-9005.
